SeaLaunch successfully launches DIRECTV 11 satellite into the space on Wednesday, 19 March at 22.48 GMT from Odyssey Launch Platform. The satellite weighing 5,923kgs lifted off from an oceangoing platform as per schedule and will be positioned at 154 degrees West Longitude 22,236 miles from the Earth.
